Basket Strainers are very useful in petrochemical processes because they are able to filter unwanted solid particles from fuel lines and distribution pipes. And usually, several filters are also used to purify the material.
Strainers are used to extract unwanted larger particles, such as :
- Sand
- Organic material
- Chemical impurities from pipe streams or industrial components
While filters can be used also to remove smaller solids or even invisible chemical components.
